The Republican Jewish Coalition is bankrolling attack ads on Speaker Pelosi over her trip to Syria. The coalition includes Ari Fleischer, David Frum, Sheldon Adelson, Lewis M. Eisenberg and Ken Mehlman. They also financed ads for Lieberman during his senate race and have some overlap with the Scooter Libby Defense Fund.

The right-wing noise machine really is a remarkable thing to behold. Al Gore wins an Oscar, gets some well-deserved recognition for his efforts, and within hours the Republican noise machine is already in full smear mode, trying to undercut Gore's message by attacking him personally.
